How to build a business easily

So let's talk about business. Business is more than just selling something, because of course anybody can sell theoretically anything. Just like in the movie and the book Wolf of Wall Street. Tell me this pattern. Make me want this pen. Do I need this pen? How badly do I want this pen? Um. why is this pen useful to my life all of that so it is more than just what you're selling it is It is really about. How you sell things. Why you sell things where you sell things when you sell things to who you sell

It's called business philosophy, business ethics, marketing ethics, business building and lifestyle. Because again, there are so many businesses now. We have these big conglomerates, these big monopolies that just eat up and take up all the space. That leaves very little room for the little guys, the small businesses, the online businesses, the ones that. Were made handmade and ethically sourced and the ones that are made. With the different intention, with the different um, speed and rhythm and seasonality and those small ethical businesses, what we're calling ethical businesses shouldn't have to, don't need to be competing with the big. Monstrous whale of a business, because those aren't businesses

Towards a cause? Towards a certain community of people? Is it solving a certain problem? How are you being busy? How are you taking up space, showing up for whatever area and thing that you're trying to show up for? Usually in small businesses in particular? We're trying to solve or share whatever the solution we encountered in our lives to others so that they don't have to face the same problem situation because we've already overcome it. We've already done the heavy lifting, the heavy investing work and so. They can then bypass all of the struggle and strife and um. The problem setbacks if they just invest in us. But then the trick is how to get them to invest in us. How to get them to trust, believe. And work with us because also we might not be the person for them. There might be many other people who are also trying to service and solve for that one problem, but maybe through a different lens, maybe focusing, specializing on one part, maybe showing up completely differently because. We all have different energies and auras and ways that we present ourselves and show up and and talk and. The people we we really resonate with. So

Business is literally about being busy and taking up space and how you choose to do that and in what scope and in what focus. And all of that is what then makes up the business, because if you just get busy selling anything, yeah, you have a business. Now, how do you want to sustain that business? How do you want to maintain over the long term if this is becoming your lifestyle and you want your business, your business to sustain you and your community, and what the cause, the mission that you stand for? Because if not, then you can literally just have a side hustle. Or a part-time situation, or a passion project hobby. And there's no depth. You don't have to go deep. You don't have to invest into the roots and the stems and all of the ecosystem that goes into it. But if you do go deep, and you do develop your own world. The ecosystem. Here are, I think, some top tips, and I can continue to do a series on this if this is useful, but here are some top tips of what. I have learned so far on my journey in business building and development because it is a journey

So the first thing is of course in my in my book, figuring out yourself Now. That is also a never ending journey. But really figuring out who you are now in the moment and seeing what your journey has been, what you can and what you want to incorporate from your past self, from your past. Lives and experiences in jobs and all of that, and then where you're going, because it will get very challenging very fast if you don't know. What you're trying to achieve and. That may sound a bit blase, that may sound a bit of self-evident and obvious, but I fell in this trap. I fell in this very easy. Rookie step because. You know, the idea of having a business is fantastic. And yet there, even with an MBA or whatever type of certifications out there, the most fundamental thing is figuring out what you're trying to do my. Experience was OK. I wanna have a business and I knew I had my degree in English and I have a lot to say about corporate America and trying to fit in a box and career building and all of that. And so I started out as a blog, seeing as how many people. Have blogs and affiliate marketing and make money. According to them, by having a presence online and just sharing sharing their content, um. Through the written word or video vlogging. But that is not a business. Because there's no offer, there's no service. It is a very. And yeah, although there is business aspect to it, but as I said before, a very clear. Um, indicator that this is a business?and most blogs don't fit into this category because they're not selling you a certain product or service umYou could make the argument that they're selling you their content and so you're giving your time. And then maybe by chance you are supporting whatever they are promoting, the affiliate marketing links that they have listed on their website. But in essence this is setting up a business to failure. Unless you're really in the long run and you have no problem. Um. Trying to build something over maybe a decade and starting with pennies and then eventually making some sort of income

The second thing I would say, besides knowing where you're headed, where you are, is. What is the problem or the solution that you're trying to? Sulphur or provide for because I will say that um. Going back to the premise that a business is selling something, um, you can look at this in different ways. You can see this as something that you will be selling. So having to get a a trade, a certificate, another skill, or leveraging something that you feel comfortable and confident. And now and then being able to adapt it and change it as you go. So starting to look at what is it that you want to sell, can sell, what is it that's in your toolkit and starting to explore what we call business models and systems, how you're going to then structure. i And framework, the offerings and the way in which you will get paid and work with people.

So we've covered knowing where you are, what you're trying to achieve. And working with what you've got. The tools and sort of. Framework. Skeleton of a business model. Now we're going to talk about the ethics piece and this is important in terms of going back to first step, knowing where you want to go because this starts to build in the meat, the muscles, more of the fleshy part of the business, I would say. Um, because this is really about how big you want to get. If you ever want to have employees, if you ever want to take this into brick and mortar or just keep it in an online digital space, this is really about how you wanna show up being part of. Um, I would say environmental, sustainable type causes and marketing where you are not pushy, where you're not up front, where you're not kind of. Pushing people to to buy because there's a UM. There's a sense of fear, there's a sense of urgency, there's a sense of insecurity and doubt and really plain prying on people's insecurities and. So this is kind of another way to distinguish your business, but it's also how you want to um. Start from scratch because once you start an apath um you can always adopt and change and pivot. But it's just when you start in one track of marketing posting every day, it gets harder I would say, to change as time goes on. Because you've already developed a rhythm, You've got into a habit, and then we go into that whole psychology of habit building and trying to. Kind of rework and redo and you can do that. I'm not saying that there's you can't do any of these things. These are all my recommendations and suggestions based off of almost three years going on business building and slowly building a profit. And figuring out what works for me and building a lifestyle. Because ultimately my business supports my lifestyle that I want to have. Being a digital nomad. Eventually being a homesteader. It's importantly standing up for the cause of job hopping and creating your own path. So

The fourth step I would say is you getting into more of the creative things, then you can start exploring the tools and resources you'll need. So once you know kind of where you're headed, what you're selling and what you stand for, what the type of marketing and things once you've got. Kind of the logistical, what is happening sort of thing. Then you go into the how and the how is the tools, resources, the investments would you need to get into a social media scheduler do you need. A designer or some sort of designing software. Now you start getting into what is it that you have already in terms of time. Access resources and what can you outsource? What do you feel comfortable outsourcing? What do you need to be learning? Who can you bring in to support yourself? I will give in a plug right now for myself that I am a website designer as well as support women launching their business. And um, if you need support in the job situation where you are looking to change jobs in order to launch a business or in order to figure out your next step, those are my three premier services. If you're still unsure, you can hop on a 30 minute call with me. And I'm super happy to talk with you, answer any of your questions for free, and if I'm not the person to help you at the end of the day, I can see what I can do and link you up with any other people and resources that can help. So um, the how the 4th step is really about the resources. And I do mean that in terms of money and technology, but I also do mean that in terms of time and energy. Because whatever you decide to build, of course, takes time and money. And I knew. I mean, I didn't know that. I was going to be willing to invest about, who knows, maybe more, 3 to $5000 in the first two years without making a profit. And some people spend way more because they have that access. Some people spend less because they don't have that access and also they may not want to. So that's a critical step.

And then the fifth tip I would give when starting out is about the market research and testing and doing a demo. Most valuable product, or whatever they call it, really testing it. Testing to see getting your first client, whether it is for free, whether it is at a discounted rate and start to test your offer, your clientele, your your network, your reach. Start to get. A feeling of what's out there in the market and out there in the in the universe before you start to put real money and real energy behind it. Because you're still in kind of the egg nesting phase that you can still change your colors and stripes and you're you're not the the business hasn't birthed. That you're still cooking and you're still figuring things out. So this is a great time to still explore play. Continue to figure out yourself and incorporate, as I have done another plug my astrology and human design and an anagram and all of the things that you know about yourself that you want to see in your lifestyle and business and hopefully. Others as well. This is a great time because there's no pressure. You haven't committed to a an industry or a service or offer or community population. And so you can still hop, hop around, figure things out. And if at the end of, let's say, your first 3-4 years of business building, you're still figuring things out, then I would say um. Start to see how you can merge and create. Your own. Sort of wheelhouse, because you might be in the middle of a few different. Um. Industries and offers so.

With all that said, um again, if you have any questions about any of this, please leave a comment or e-mail me at the Raquel science@gmail.com as well if you are interested in working with me in any way and are not sure where to start. I would recommend the free 30 minute consultations, just to kind of pick up my brain and see. If we're a fit because I I don't wanna. Send you on a route or give you recommendations that are not the best for you and your life right now. If you know that you're looking for a change in job in order to support your new lifestyle, career, business decisions, I would suggest designing your path. If you know that you're at a stage in business and kind of hustle where you're looking for a website, but the website needs to ebb and flow with you, I would suggest design your digital home and if you're just ready, super ready to. Launch a business you're not interested in spending a lot of money. You're not. You're ready to do it and need support putting all the pieces together starting from scratch. I would suggest design your business and lifestyle with me and. Again, leave your comments down below, e-mail me any questions you might have in my contact page and um. So next time.
