The #1 thing to look for in a positive work environment

Let's talk about a little bit emotional intelligence. It's important and when it's no longer enough. Emotional intelligence is essential. The soft skills, the things they don't teach you to do the job but are absolutely essential to do the job and work with other people in any sense. Dynamic work environment and it's not taught. And it's so needed. And when it doesn't, when it's not present, it's not there. Can make managing others or. Being managed, working with others really miserable. And when it is there, it can still show you. Whether you are fulfilled in that job. Financially or philosophically? Mentally. For what? Is fulfilling you. So emotional intelligence is a great indicator to let you know that you're getting your needs met in the job. If you want to continue to grow and climb up the corporate ladder, it's a great indicator to show you what that industry, that work environment that group has to offer. And if it's not present at all, it gives you kind of this crossroads of. OK, this is what most corporate environments are like. And am I willing to take the gamble? 

To see if another environment work environment is. Better has more or less emotional intelligence, or am I starting to look at creating my own thing? And um. Show up in a different way in my career and trajectory because. 

Any job. According to the job description, can offer you the technical skills and advancement in order for you to become a better accountant, a better graphic designer, writer, HR. Worker. It can offer you multiple. Kind of standards the foundation to see what your past trajectory could be if you were to stay in a certain role. And how long that might take you depending on the industry, depending on the company, depending on the group team you're with. But what it doesn't show you is the key element of emotional intelligence and how much that is necessary for your personal. Sense of fulfillment to get to go into a job day after day, be part of a team, be part of a community, a new ecosystem 

Or to realize that? You are. Your needs and what you're looking for cannot be met, and it may or may not have anything to do with the emotional intelligence of the team or manager, but it is because you have found that you are being fulfilled and want to be fulfilled by something completely different. 

So the take away is to start to think about. How? Your. Level of emotional intelligence. Start to perceive. If. You know what you're looking for. In terms of getting. Feeling scene, Feeling hurt? Feeling that the manager the team recognizes has different opportunities for advancement. Takes critique not just about you and your work, but about them and how they can continue to improve as a team and company. Um. And start to see how. Looking at emotional intelligence. Affects your path and trajectory, um. In building your path, designing your path, because I know that that is something that is often looked for. Is looking for a good team, looking for a good manager, and we know that not nothing will be perfect. There will be bad days, there will be negative or stressful days and that's normal. That's part of. That's part of it, but. If the group the team is more negative is feeling more presenting and and having more of a toxic and. Disingenuous. Team environment then that is when you start to see OK, am I really gonna be here for how long And you start to chart your path and you start to make decisions for your your highest good and start to see. how much that is an indicator are you just financially motivated or not
